Gospel Meeting

You are cordially invited to our Gospel Meeting which we hold in the hall every Sunday evening throughout the year at 6.30 p.m. Here you will hear about the good news of God's gift of salvation which is available to all. We have a different speaker each week and, on the last Sunday of each month, we serve tea and cakes after the meeting.

The message is the same as that preached by the early disciples, as recorded in the New Testament, after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. ' I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you … how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.' 1 Corinthians chapter 15 v 1,3 & 4.
It presents the Lord Jesus as our only Saviour, His sacrificial death as the only means of our salvation, our need of Him as Saviour, and the rich blessings of eternal life and more received by all who come to Him, as well as showing the danger of neglecting salvation.
The meeting commences with hymn singing and lasts for 45 minutes. You are invited to come along and hear the message and you will be made most welcome.
'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life'. John 3 v 16
